Global Cooperation Alliance of Science Centers (GCASC) is an alliance of science centers, national laboratories and science cities around the world. It is an international non-governmental, non-confidential and non-profit organization for scientific and technological collaboration.
The alliance was proposed at the first and second conference of Global Cooperation of Science Centers hosted by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and city of Beijing. Dozens of directors and scientists of science centers / laboratories around world attended the conferences and agreed to work towards establishing the GCASC. The third conference of international science centers officially announced the establishment of GCASC. In 2021, the 4th Conference on International Cooperation of Science Centers was held in Huairou Science City, Beijing, and added an Alliance Secretary office in Beijing.
